Skyblock - Game Update 1
Game updates allow us to showcase what we have changed and what you can expect going forward on Skycade. This first game update, for Skyblock, details new features, competition winners and bug fixes for the new season.-------------
Cosmetics Pack
The fully cosmetic, cosmetics pack, available on the store, provides pretty features that can be used to show off your island. If you're curious, island counters are extremely resource heavy, hence the price. If this can be optimised, I can reduce it, but no guarantees!Cosmetics Pack
Share island statistics via the chat
Detail those numbers on signs, too!
Stick counters on armour stands and make them invisible with the Armour Stand Editor for holograms!
Armour stands can also have rainbow colours using the new "&u" colour code. See an example, here!
The pack also includes block particles, island titles and an increased amount of island portals for use on your islands!

Outpost changes
Ore bombs, new enchants and bug fixes have been added to the outpost.Outpost changes
Ore bombs have been optimised to reduce lag, use your pickaxe enchants and directly apply exploded XP straight to the pickaxe you want! (click for video)
New Mob Shield enchant that pushes away some mobs so you can focus on mining. (click for video)
- Mob protection orb now stops witch potions from harming you
- Auto smelt now works properly
- Ores will give you dropped EXP orbs like usual now
- Removed Outpost Stats Bottle (XP bottle) from the merchant. If you wish to redeem one you have, contact an admin.
- The outpost transfer token in the merchant will now allow the transfer of outpost stats onto a pickaxe with outpost stats already. For clarification, applying stats to another pickaxe will not add stats, only transfer stats.
- The outpost shop is now ordered by level and price and will show you lack when trying to purchase an item.
- Mobs now should remove themselves if you leave.

Islands
Added a way to talk in island chat without having to toggle it via the command. Put a "@" before your message, and it'll send it via island chat!Islands
You will get chat notifications when a member of your island joins or leaves Skyblock! (in the future, I will add a toggle to stop this)
Feel free to kick anyone from your island if they are annoying like this.

Lag
It is noticeable that on island01, there is a considerable amount of lag at times. Optimisations have been implemented in this update and will continue to be improved. Nevertheless, if you have a large redstone farm, please ensure that it isn't the cause of lag. If it is, it is probably time to move onto spawners.Lag

Transfer Hoppers
A brand new feature to Skycade - Transfer Hoppers! Much like last season, where we have crop hoppers that collected items in a chunk and sent them to linked chests, these transfer hoppers instead will transfer items in its 5 slots to linked chests. It will not pick up items in a chunk.Transfer Hoppers
You can convert hoppers to transfer hoppers with /transferhoppers convert. Read about it in /tutorial!

Island competition winners!
In our Discord server, I hosted an event for the community to enter in their own default islands that you can create when you first play Skyblock. Out of the entries we got, three players have won prizes for winning! Winners have already received their prizes which were knight crate keys.Island competition winners!

As an honourable winner (we never announced it beforehand, but is still impressive), saffue was the top balance with a total of $6,816,246,563,953. I wonder if anyone could beat that this season...
