Welcome to week 33 of skycade weekly. Just a quick reminder that staff don't want the replies to this thread fighting about skycade daily/weekly.
KitPvP
KitPVP has a bug update this week, the return of the old Legacy Map! Also, a new event. This event is called Team fight, and here’s how it works: each player gets a team; the banner on there head shows the team they are on.

Staff Interview
This week we interviewed erhip!
1. Why did you apply for staff and did you think you would get accepted? I Applied for staff as i noticed that i was for some reason getting a little bit bored of playing skycade as a player and thought that applying for staff might spice it up a little bit and have a change in perspective on the server. I was still playing skycade at the time however i did notice there wasnt many people on in the early hours of the morning in UK time, this meant a lot of people could hack on kitpvp and we'd be left to sorta report and hope a member of staff was on the forums at the time. I didnt really expect it to be accepted if im honest, i have sent a lot of staff applications in. (10+) However i still had hope and believed there would be a possibility i would be accepted.
2. Whats been the best moment of being staff so far? As i am kinda new to being staff i havent really had any best moments but i enjoy just talking to the other members of staff and sharing opinions on things. The staff team is very nice friendly environment. Just feels like a group of friends playing together sometimes.
3. How did you find skycade? I was introduced to skycade by plax. In January, 2018. (Late Season 8) We both got into minecraft again after getting bored of other games. We started out on hypixel and i believe he found skycade from jack on youtube (not 100% on this).
4. How did you get your name? I got the IGN "erhip" when i made my minecraft account in 2011 and was struggling to think of an IGN for minecraft so after a while i gave up and hit my keyboard and after a few attempts, erhip came out, ive stuck with this name for practically everything online now.
5. What was the thing you least accepted about being staff? The thing i least expected is the ammount of pressure and how scared and nervous i was on my first day of helper and mod. I was terrified of false banning someone, or not getting the sufficient evidence needed. When i got mod i was very scared of doing anything on the forums (reports and appeals) as i was just clueless on what to do or how to do it. Another thing i didnt really expect is the amount of effort and time which goes into skycade behind the scenes. As a player you can't really appreciate the amount of work the staff really do to keep the server relevent.
