How would you summarize your time as staff? has it been enjoyable? Frustrating? etc
It's had its ups and downs, but overall it's been a great experience so far. Some people forget I'm a volunteer and I do sometimes get hate just for doing what I'm supposed to do, but that doesn't outshine all the good memories that I've made with other staff and players. It's great being a valuable member to the community and I enjoy contributing to it and seeing an impact made because of that.
Is there something specific you're looking forward to in the future Skycade related? Maybe a new gamemode etc
I always look forward to skyblock resets. Taon and the representatives have some great ideas to make it even more enjoyable to play. I'm a skyblock rep so it's cool that I have a say in what's coming up. It just makes it even more exciting when the resets come. I always love minor new things like new custom enchantments or ways to level up, or on kitpvp things like new kits and map changes.
What, would you say, is your favorite part of being a member of the staff team?
As I said before, I like being a part of this community and being able to make contributions that affect it in positive ways. It's a great community and a really fun server. I feel like being staff just keeps me constantly engaged with Skycade. I like helping the players, whether that be by answering their questions, taking care of their appeals, or banning rule breakers.
Do you see yourself being a part of the Skycade community in the future? Or will you move on? / Do you think the server will be around in the future?
I'm not planning on going anywhere soon. I've been here as a mod for over one and a half years and got to know many people, and I've seen a lot of changes made. It's good to stay optimistic, who knows if the best days of Skycade are to come? I think we're certainly going in the right direction with staff changes, a new anticheat, cool events for the community like movie night and art competitions, constant gamemode updates, and a growing team. I believe that we have great plans for the future and we'll see these good changes to Skycade for a while.
